SUPERVISION

A confidential space to explore your practice

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my supervision page. I have been providing supervision from a Buddhist psychological perspective for 5 years to individuals and groups and have been approved as a supervisor on York St. John's University's counselling programme.

My aim as a supervisor is to support and enhance your practice as a therapist by enabling you to reflect and review your work. My approach is to collaborate with the supervisee so that you can identify individual development needs.

Supervision requirements

The British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) recommends regular and ongoing supervision. A minimum of 1.5 hours per calendar month regardless of number of contracted clients for students and accredited members of BACP and general good practice.

In addition to reviewing and supporting your work as a therapeutic practitioner, I also offer a space to help you in many different ways - from setting up your private practice, to exploring niche areas to work within and putting yourself out there to get clients to work with, I understand the difficulties in establishing a private practice and can help you to build your practice and work towards a level of professional satisfaction within the therapeutic world.

Fees & availability

Supervision sessions for supervisees last 60 minutes or 90 minutes, usually taking place on a monthly basis, and cost £70 per 60 minute session or £85/90 minute session.

I also provide a limited number of spaces for students; contact me to enquire about availability.
